Deacons
The deacons are a group of people who focus their energy on service. The new testament speaks of deacons as those who go out and tend to the widows and the orphans. At Rock, the deacons are responsible for visiting shut-ins, helping wherever there is a need, administering the food pantry and serving at the Community Kitchen. Deacons do many large and small tasks around the church.
